Cleary Point Group Camp is a great place to stay for a group of up to 40 people. It is situated on a private point on Cleary Lake and surrounded by beautiful scenery and lots of trees. There are 4-5 hookups, a private dock, and a fire ring and picnic table at each site. The hike-in sites are close to the car and there is plenty of space between sites for privacy. There are canoe and kayak rentals available, as well as a par 3 golf course and outdoor cold shower. The only downside is that there is only a port-a-potty for bathrooms and no water hookups. It is a great spot for a weekend party and is close to Prior Lake, a cute little town with a nice farmers market on Saturdays.

From The Campground

Cleary Lake Campground is located in Cleary Lake Regional Park and offers several campsites ranging in size from small to large for outdoor enthusiasts. The campground has 26 sites for tents only and two RV sites with full hookups. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring with pit latrines and water pump nearby, but no showers. The Basswood camping area is a walk-in campsite with no electricity, while the White Pine campsites are tent-only drive-in sites with no electricity. RV sites have full hookups with water, sewer, and electric. A shelter is available to all campers staying at the Basswood camping area. The campground encourages recycling and composting.
