This campground is a great place for a weekend getaway! It is located about 6-7 miles out of Red Wing on Hwy 58, and features a heated pool, playground, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and a saloon. The trails here are amazing, and there is a trout stream, paved bikepath, and hiking and horseback riding trails. The camping sites are water and electric, grassy, and have picnic tables and fire rings. There is a dump station and pumping available for stays longer than 7 days. The rate is a bit high since there is no sewer, but the owners and staff are exceptionally friendly. There were all sorts of activities planned over the July 4th weekend, including a fish fry. Unfortunately, there were a few permanent campers who were behaving badly and were very creepy.
