This campground is a great getaway spot in Northern Minnesota. With a short and easy cart ride to stunning lakeside sites, its a great place to stay for a weekend or a week. The campsites are spacious and private, and the park is clean and well-maintained. There is plenty to do, with a beach and rentals for the lake, interpretive trails, and a canoe rental. The walk-in sites and cabin B are especially secluded, with views of the lake and plenty of trees for hammocking. The vault toilets are clean, and there is drinking water available. Be warned, however, that the bugs can be thick in late summer, so bring plenty of bug spray! Cell service is minimal, making it a great place to get away from it all.
