Red Pine Campground in Saginaw, MN is a very well-kept park surrounded by a beautiful lake. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean, with one fabulous shower available. The park has a social hall that can host events. The friendly staff is run by a welcoming family that makes for a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The park is home to several permanent residents but all the sites are well-tended and pretty. Visitors can enjoy the walking trails in the woods and pick raspberries from the bushes. The campgrounds WiFi can be sporadic at times but VZW internet worked well. Some reviews mentioned issues with rust in the well water, but we did not experience that. The campground has plenty of space between sites and is easy to walk around. The sites are level and wide enough, with easy in and around. The park provides a dumpster at the entrance to the camping loops, and mailboxes nearby. Overall, its a great staging area for nearby attractions, such as Downtown Duluth, which is about 12 miles away.
