Ninemile Lake Campground is perfect for people wanting to do some exploring while camping. The campground is located in Superior National Forest and offers access to Ninemile Lake, Echo Lake, Goldeneye Lake, and the Crooked Lake Canoe Route. The campground has 24 campsites, some of which are ADA accessible, and amenities include a boat ramp, picnic area, and hiking trail. The initial 0.5 miles of the hiking trail is maintained, followed by an unmaintained 4.5-mile loop. Advanced wayfinding and backcountry navigation skills are necessary for the unmaintained portion. The campground also has a solar-powered faucet and a vault-style outhouse. Some sites are reservable through Recreation.gov.
