This campground is a great place for families, located on Lake Vermillion and close to many vacation options. There are mainly RV sites available, with some tent camping sites as well. Sites range from open and close together to shady sites both on or off the lake. The campground offers excellent fishing for walleyes, and has a boat landing and docks for boats. Facilities are basic and a bit worn, with a camp office, playground, and picnic shelter. There is no sewer hook up but there is a dump site. The campground staff are friendly and helpful, and there is an old time candy store and ice cream shop. The sites are private and heavily wooded on both sides, and the campground is close to Lake Vermilion State Park and the Mesabi Bike Trail.
