Staying at Trails RV Campground just outside of Walker, MN, was a pleasant experience for a three night stay. The 19 sites for short term travelers are roomy pull-through gravel sites that are somewhat level and offer access to the bike trail system. While there were some water issues, the campground was well maintained and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The grounds are also surrounded by trees, providing a cozy atmosphere. The park is mostly full of long term summer renters, but the staff was hospitable. The laundry room was reasonably priced, the restrooms clean and theres a nice non-heated outdoor pool. The couple that runs the place are two of the hardest-working young people, with the campground being a work in progress. The pull-through sites are spacious and open, while the back-in sites are also spacious and satellite friendly. There is quite a lot of rust in the water, and the Wi-Fi connection goes down for no apparent reason several times a day. The campground is conveniently located near stores, restaurants, fishing, and the bike path. All in all, Trails RV Campground is a great place to stay for a summer getaway.
