Baylor Regional Park Campground is a great spot for a weekend getaway from the Twin Cities. It is a small campground with manicured lawns, well maintained restrooms and a storm shelter for inclement weather. There is a nearby lake with paddleboat rentals and plenty of hiking trails, bike trails and a boardwalk. The campground offers 30 amp electric hookups and a dump station. There is also a beach, fishing pier, playground, observatory, picnic pavilions and disc golf. The campground is usually full on weekends, but is much quieter during the week. The campground is well kept and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Baylor Regional Park Campground is a serene wooded area that offers primitive group camping and individual campsites. The park has strict rules and regulations that campers must follow, including quiet hours from 10pm to 7am, no disturbance of wildlife, and no cutting or burning of park trees. The campground offers free Saturday Morning Mischief programs for the entire family, including craft projects, story walks, scavenger hunts, and photo searches. The primitive Group Camp is a popular spot for community organizations, with a capacity for up to 50 people and picnic tables, a fire pit, and charcoal grills available.
