What others are saying
There are no showers or hookups, so plan accordingly. The campground is well maintained and the sites are spaced out nicely. There is a nice beach close by and plenty of trails for hiking and biking. The only downside is the poison ivy, so be sure to wear long pants and closed toed shoes when exploring the area. Ann Lake State Forest Campground is a great rustic campground located within an hours drive of the Twin Cities. Its perfect for a weekend getaway with the family or a solo walk-in trip. Each campsite includes a picnic table and a fire ring, and there are water spigots and outhouse-style restrooms throughout the campground. Camping is on a first-come, first-served basis, and you register at the kiosk located at the front of the campground. There are no showers or hookups, so plan accordingly. From The Campground
Finland Campground and day use area is currently closed for all use, due to extreme winter storm damage and a spruce budworm infestation. We need to assess and remove a great number of hazard trees before the area is safe for visitors. We will reopen the campground as soon as it is safe, but with this degree of damage, we expect it will be closed for two to four months.
