Hurricane Landing is a small RV campground on Lake Sardis that consists of one loop with 19 level, deep, concrete sites. The sites offer electric and water hookups, and a dump station is located near the exit. The host is friendly and welcoming. Hurricane Landing offers a great value for such a beautiful location and amenities such as fire pits, grills, picnic tables, and lantern stands. The campground has an open field and playground, perfect for families, and its just a short walk to the lake. In the summer, the grass is lush and green, making for a beautiful view from almost all the sites. Note that the closest amenities are about 15 miles away in Oxford, so its best to come prepared. Hurricane Landing has good cell phone coverage - ATT was strong, and Verizon was three bars. Over the air TV stations are limited. The lake is low during some parts of the year, but boating and fishing are popular recreational activities during the summer months. The road to the campground may be windy, but large RVs can manage it.

The lake has 9 campgrounds, picnic areas, playgrounds, boat launching ramps, fishing areas, restrooms, beaches, and picnic shelters. The campgrounds offer amenities such as restrooms, showers, boat ramps, sanitary disposal systems, playgrounds, electric and water hookups, and beaches. Sardis Lake also has several trails designed for short leisurely hikes, including the Sandstone Nature Trail, Sandstone Fitness Trail, Clear Springs Nature Trail, and Clear Creek Mountain Bike Trail. The lake offers one of the best fishing opportunities in the Southeast, with limited shoreline available to the public for development. Sardis Lake is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
