Recreation - Go Monroe! offers a variety of outdoor activities for visitors to enjoy. Lake Monroe is a beautiful 99-acre lake that is primarily used for fishing and family picnicking/camping. Blue Bluff Recreation Area is a scenic park that offers 92 R/V hookups with water/electricity, playgrounds, picnic areas, hiking trails, amphitheater, interpretative walks, boat ramps, docks, and other amenities. Morgan’s Landing Park is another great spot for fishing and family picnicking/camping. The Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway provides unlimited boating, skiing, hunting, or fishing enthusiasts. Its waters are loaded with many favorite freshwater fish species, including catfish, crappie, bream, and largemouth bass. River Birch Golf Club is a professional, 18-hole golf course and residential development located within the city limits of Amory, Mississippi. Amory Golf Course is a 9-hole course that features 3,187 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. The Canal Section Wildlife Management Area is over 26,000 acres of public hunting land adjacent to the Waterway, and it’s managed by the Mississippi Dept. of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.
