Piney Grove in Belmont, Mississippi is a fantastic campground on Bay Springs Lake, which is part of the Tenn/Tom waterway. The park is well-maintained and the staff is helpful in keeping all areas clean. Many campsites have lovely views of the lake and it is possible to watch passing barges. Despite being about 10 miles away from the town, facilities are available. The campground has picnic tables, fire pits, and grills on the well-spaced sites which have gravel pads with patio areas. The shady sites are perfect for RV or tent camping. The campground has various lakefront sites that are perfect for biking around or visiting the beach and dock. While it is a decent drive from Hwy 72, it is worth it!
