The campground near the upper end of the Ross Barnett Reservoir is a great place for long-term stays. The campground is well-maintained and offers washer and dryers, Church services, and a welcoming congregation. The sites are wide and have easy access to the lake. The only downside is the large rocks used for the road bed, so if you have a big rig, its best to take the left entrance to the office. The bath houses are non-working and wont be fixed anytime soon, but the laundry room is dirty but the machines work well. The atmosphere of the park is pleasant and the full-timers are some of the best people youll find. Its 10 miles from stores and eating out, but its worth it for the great experience youll have.
