This campground offers excellent kayaking down a stretch of the Strong River. Although the park is run down, it offers canoe and kayak rentals and a peaceful trip down the river. When staying, be aware of the potential for poisonous snakes. For RVers, the campground offers hookups, is quite and has nice facilities. Unfortunately, it is often crowded, with permanent trailers and in need of maintenance. At another campground, the facilities were in need of maintenance, the bath house was not clean, and the power was not reliable. However, at a third campground, the park was incredibly clean and family-oriented, with a frisbee golf course and walking paths. Finally, another park was fully occupied with permanent RVers and not suitable for travelers.
