Lilly Pads and Bass is a beautiful state park with modernized, moderate size campgrounds. It offers a variety of activities including mountain biking, hiking, fishing, kayaking, swimming, and bike riding. The lake has a designated swimming area with a beach, and there is a small playground. The campgrounds are clean and well-maintained, with wide, paved sites that have a fire ring, picnic table, bbq, and a cleared, level tent site. There is a large building to rent for reunions, and boats can be rented on site. The park staff is friendly and helpful. The park is pet friendly in the RV park, but not in the cabins. It is usually full over Spring break and holidays, and sites 13 through 22 have at least a partial view of the lake. The PA price of $10 is unbelievably low for such a nice place. There is poor cell and satellite reception, and the roads and sites are all paved and easy to navigate with a big rig.
