From The Campground
Tippah County Lake is a 145 acre lake located in Tippah County. It offers camping with 22 camping pads with electrical/water hookups and a dump station onsite. A pavilion is also available for rent. The lake is home to a variety of fish species including Bluegill, Crappie, Channel Catfish, Flathead Catfish, Largemouth Bass, and Redear. The lake has a depth map available for download. The current state record for Redear is held by James Kenny Martin at 3.33 lbs. The lake also holds a record for a 14 lbs. 12 oz. Bass caught by Perry Reed, a 3 lbs. 5 oz. Crappie caught by Mike Suitor, an 8 oz. Bluegill caught by Aaron Barton, and a 42 lbs. Catfish caught by Keith Bullock.
