This campground is a great place to stay for an overnight stop while traveling between Memphis and New Orleans. It is conveniently located right off of I-55 and is about halfway between the two cities. The pull-through sites are long enough to accommodate a fifth-wheel trailer with a truck hooked up. The utilities are properly placed and the park has 50 amp service. The roads and sites are all in very good shape, despite the torrential rain. Beth and Larry, the owners, are friendly and helpful and show a high degree of commitment to making your stay pleasant. The Granada Lake, Tupelo to visit Elvis Presley birthplace, Oxford and the University of Mississippi, and the Water Valley Casey Jones marker and museum are all nearby highlights. Security lights throughout the park provide safety and peace of mind. The bathrooms are old and dank, but the park is clean and tidy.
