This campground is tucked away off a busy highway, making it difficult to spot from the road. Despite its tight sites, the campground is usually full due to its proximity to the beach. It has good internet speeds from AT&T and a friendly manager who is always a delight to talk with. The campground has a pool, clubhouse, playground, and a store with a propane fill station. It is surrounded by mature live oaks with spanish moss, making for a beautiful setting. There are a lot of long-term guests, and the park is surprisingly quiet at night given the major roads nearby. It can be tricky to maneuver in the park when it is full, but everyone has always been friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are clean, and the sites are asphalt and fairly level. The dumpster is located in the back where the caretaker or owner lives.
