What others are saying about this campground

This campground is centrally located to shopping, casinos, restaurants, and the beautiful white sand beaches of Ship Island Ferry. The sites are large stone gravel, quite small, with no picnic tables, just enough room to park a tow vehicle. The park is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the heat coming off the gravel can raise the air temperature several degrees on hot days, and there are no trees, picnic tables, fire rings, or other amenities. The park office is tiny, and the rules are enforced to respect the neighbors. There is a train about 3 blocks away, but the view of the ocean is dominated by the industrial shipping dock and the large visible pipe with a warning sign. The park is family-friendly, but they nickel and dime you for services like car washing and water tank filling. The game room is only open when they have an event, and you arent allowed to hang your towels or swimsuits outside to dry. Despite these drawbacks, the park is still a great place to stay, and the beach across the street is pristine.

Located just off Highway 90 (Beach Blvd) in Gulfport Gulf Haven Campground features RV hook-ups, pull-through spaces, Wi-Fi access and cable connections at every site, palm trees, flower beds, and much more. The office houses not only the office, but the showers and restrooms. A wraparound porch equipped with rocking chairs overlooks the beautiful Gulf of Mexico!
