Southern Oaks Campground is a family-owned and managed RV park located near the Gulfport Biloxi International Airport. It is mostly a mobile home park, but the RV sites are large enough and have full hookups and 50 amp service. The RV sites are clean, level, long, concrete pull-throughs with perfectly-functioning utilities. The park is close to the interstate, making it a convenient overnight stop for travelers. Although the park is 3/4 mobile homes and trailers that need some fixing, the owners/employees try to keep the park clean. The park also offers free Wi-Fi, but it is unreliable and requires multiple phone calls to the office and visits from the manager to get it to work. The only complaint is the double speed bumps near the entrance that can jar everything in the RV. For a one or two night stop for self-contained units, Southern Oaks is a great value at $20 per night with Passport America.
