GenieSummary

What others are saying about this campground
Hernando Point in Hernando, MS is a great place for a peaceful camping experience with large and clean sites that are surrounded by beautiful lake views. The overwhelmingly positive scenery is perfect for hiking and walking dogs. Although the staff is not extremely present, the rangers do drive around the campground often. However, there is no camp host, so campers are left alone to check themselves in. Unfortunately, fellow campers have reported that previous visitors did not clean up after themselves, and there are some absent picnic tables. Additionally, camping on the wrong site is a possibility, as there is no one to direct visitors. Lastly, some fellow campers did note that their visits were disrupted by inconsiderate guests who threw large parties late into the night.
