What others are saying about this campground
Louisville, MS is home to a secluded, off-the-beaten-path campground perfect for a peaceful and tranquil stay. With fifteen RV sites, three pull-throughs, and the rest back-in, there is something for everyone. Each site has a picnic table, grill, firepit, and trash can, and the moveable wooden metal picnic table in good condition on the concrete slab is a nice touch. The toilet/shower building has AC and is stocked with ample TP, paper towels, and soap. There are also cabins for rent, an old trail around a lake, and a brand new playground. The park is close to Natchez-Trace, a popular bike trail, and is also a great spot to see the red-cockaded woodpecker at Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge. Unfortunately, there are no personnel at the entrance gate, no park host, no campfire rings, and no park WIFI. There are also street lights at sites 15 and 11, and 3 street lights at the toilet/shower building, making it not dark sky friendly. Additionally, the asphalt parking pass site #4 has huge pot holes and few of the 15 sites are level side-to-side, so bring all the leveling equipment you can!
