It is part of the Pat Harrison water park system and is a great place for canoes, kayaks, and riding bikes. The campground is run down and needs a good clean up, with pine straw, leaves, broken tree limbs, and trash in the woods. The pads are asphalt and have electric, water, and sewer connections, and the bath house is in pretty good shape. The staff is friendly and pleasant, and the park is very peaceful and quiet. However, the laundry and showers are dirty and the surrounding woods have been left untended, allowing overgrowth in some areas. The lake is also severely low on water in the Winter. Despite this, it is a wonderful place to stop and relax, and the sites are level and spacious.
