Located on the edge of the Bienville National Forest, Roosevelt State Park in Morton, MS is a beautiful and hilly campground with 109 back-in sites. Most sites have concrete slabs that are level with full hookups, a firepit, and a picnic table. Bathhouses offer laundry services, and there is a boat launch ramp at the lake. The area offers many activities such as biking, hiking, boating, jet skiing, water skiing, and swimming. While some sites are not deep, the CCC loop which is on the other side of the lake from the park headquarters has nice level sites. The park has a lot to offer, including tennis courts, a soccer field, a water slide, hiking trails and a playground.
