The campground is spacious and well-kept, with sites featuring level paved pads with water and electric (50A) hookups, a fire pit, picnic table, BBQ grill, and lantern crook. There are multiple bathhouses spread around the campground and a store nearby with gas, live fishing bait, and supplies. The lake is great for fishing and there is also a boat launch and fish cleaning station. There is also a walking trail and day-use picnic areas. Many sites offer waterfront views and the town of Pope with a restaurant is nearby. The campground can be well lit at night, but it is otherwise a very relaxed atmosphere.
