Located just 2 miles from the beach and restaurants, the campground offers mostly level gravel sites with full hook-ups, a small fishing pond with Blue Gill and Bass, and friendly neighbors. The manager is very helpful and accommodating, allowing guests to have medications shipped to her office. The road past the park is dirt, making it a great place to walk the dog. The campground is well-lit and has trimmed grass, as well as good electric and water pressure. The on-site laundry only has one working washing machine and one dryer, so guests may choose to drive to a laundromat. The cost of the campground has more than doubled in the past year, but guests can receive a discount with a Passport America membership.
