Archusa Creek Water Park in Quitman, MS offers level pull-thru campsites with spacious gaps in between. You can find beautiful sites either deep in the woods or on the lake. Its a great spot for a walk around the lake and picnics. The only downside is the weak Verizon signal for Wi-Fi which is understandable as its in a remote area. The park is relatively quiet during the weekdays and you can have kayaks out on the lake. The noise level ramps up on weekends with lots of activities on the water. The bathhouses, laundry area, and dumping area are a bit of a walk from some campsites with the trash cans only located near the bathhouse with limited dumpsters. The park is filled mostly with locals in the summer months and weekends.
