This campground is located off of a highway, but is easy to find with Google Maps. The campground is a large circle with an open field in the middle, providing a decent amount of privacy. Sites range from small to large and are semi-wooded. There is running water and power at the site, a fire ring, and a picnic table. The single shower was never busy, even on a busy weekend. The downside is the night time road noise due to the areas development. There are onsite campground hosts and a 14 day maximum stay rule. There is a no alcohol policy, making it a safe and secure place for families. The local NF Law Enforcement Officer is known to be overzealous and will issue tickets for minor violations without warning. Despite this, the facilities are well maintained and clean. There are huge sites with large open areas of grass and hot showers. There is some noise from the highway and Air Force base, but it is still a great place to stay.
