5 bars on AT&T. This campground is a great spot for a peaceful overnight or multi-day stay. It is a state park with a small lake, and 22 back-in camping spots with electric and water hookups. The cost is $18 per night with electric and water, or $13 without, and there is an honor system for payment. The campsites are mostly shaded and grassy, and most have a fire pit, 30A service and water. The main road is muddy and pot-holed, so it may be difficult to navigate in a big rig. Restrooms and showers are nearby, but closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Verizon service is good, and there are several OTA TV channels available. The lake is beautiful and the sites are large and open. This is a great spot for seasoned citizens, as there is a discount of $15 per night.

Lake Tom Bailey is a 182 acre lake located in Lauderdale County, 8 mi. E of Meridian on Hwy 11. It offers camping with 22 camping pads with electrical/water hookups. The lake is home to Bluegill, Crappie, Channel Catfish, Largemouth Bass, and Redear. The campground has amenities such as electrical/water hookups, and activities such as fishing.
