Ameristar RV Park in Vicksburg,MS, is a well-maintained campground with easily accessible roads. The majority of the sites have concrete pads, although some are not level and can be difficult to find. The park is situated on the opposite side of a casino, and it is clean, quiet, and spacious, making it ideal for a night or two stay. Although the park does not offer cable or laundry service, it is still a good value for those staying overnight. The bathroom facilities are clean but aged and the occasional train noise can be heard as the campground is located close to a railroad. However, the park is close to several attractions such as the Mississippi River, the Civil War battlefield memorial, and several restaurants. Of the 60 some sites, only about 20 are 50-amp.
