Harrison County Lake is a 280-acre recreational reservoir located about 10 miles north of Bethany, Missouri. The lake is moderately fertile and contains several areas with flooded timber which provide excellent fish habitat. The fishery is managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) through a Community Assistance Program (CAP) agreement with Harrison County. Facilities at the lake include an accessible fishing jetty, a small campground with water and electric hookups, primitive camp sites, shelter house, one boat ramp, fish cleaning station, two small swimming beaches, and privies. All facilities are maintained and managed by Harrison County.
