Boomland RV Park & Campground in Charleston, MO is a simple and inexpensive overnight campground with full hookups that work well even in cold weather. The Boomland store is fun to browse and has a huge selection of hot sauces. The food is not bad, and the breakfast burritos and hash browns are a good deal. The campground is no frills and most of the sites do not have 50-amp electrical service. Some of the sites that do have 50-amp service are too short for larger vehicles with a toad. The MFA fuel station next door usually has reasonable prices. There is a nice park across the road to walk the dog. The electric service can be iffy, so it is important to check first before setting up. Overall, Boomland RV Park & Campground is a good option for a one-night stay and is worth considering as an option in the area.
