The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Visitors to Sparrowfoot during a holiday weekend were surprised that the campground was full but quiet. Campers who stayed in Loop A17, A18, and A19 got the added bonus of being close to a little walkway leading down to the lake. Although the spots are very hot and sunny in the morning, they provide shade in the afternoon. Loop B has a new playground which is right behind site B47 and nicely maintained. Visitors should note that there are no benches or picnic tables at the playground, so they should bring their own camping chairs if they plan to stay for a while. Overall, Sparrowfoot in Clinton, MO is a beautiful campground, and visitors would likely enjoy both Loop A and Loop B. The lake offers plenty of fun activities for campers, including kayaking and swimming. The hosts are welcoming, and the facilities are clean, making this campground a great option when exploring this area of Missouri.
