Truman Lake Campgrounds offer a variety of campsites conveniently located around the shoreline of Truman Lake. Most campsites have paved roads, shower buildings, laundry facilities, and level campsites. Flush toilets and shower buildings are seasonal. Many sites have electricity, fire rings, picnic tables, frost-free hydrants nearby, and lantern posts. The campgrounds are quiet during the night hours, and pets must be kept on a leash. Visitors are not allowed during quiet hours. Truman Lake Campgrounds offer a variety of activities such as fishing, boating, swimming, and hiking. The campgrounds also offer amenities such as dump stations, playgrounds, and picnic shelters. Reservations are required during the peak camping season, and campsites are walk-in only during the shoulder season. Truman Lake Campgrounds are closed during December, January, and February.
