The lake was great for fishing, kayaking, and swimming. There were also plenty of playgrounds and bike paths. The campground was well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. This campground is a great spot for a restful getaway. It is located off I-29 and is surrounded by farm land. The grounds are well maintained and have private bathrooms with toilets and showers. There are two nice playgrounds, a swimming pool, and a small lake for fishing and kayaking (available for rent). The campsites are spacious and have fire pits and picnic tables. The roads are narrow but flat, making them great for biking. There is a dump station and trash dumpsters at the back of the park. The camp host is friendly and helpful. This is a great spot for families to take young kids fishing and enjoy the outdoors.
