This campground is a great place to spend the summer! Located right on the Current River, it offers spacious tent, RV, and camper sites that are shaded by lots of trees. They provide everything you need to float down the river, except your cooler and food, and they will even carry you up river to start your float. The campground also has a small store for all your camping and floating needs, as well as a bathhouse that is kept clean and fresh. The campground is pet-friendly and has been a favorite spot for campers for over 30 years. The roads in the park are full of pot holes, but the sites are large and offer plenty of shade. The campground is also close to town, making it easy to find things to do. The campground has been well-maintained over the years, but could benefit from better signage and more attention to the roads and sites.
