What others are saying about this campground
St Louis West / Historic Route 66 KOA Holiday is a clean and well-kept park, with helpful and friendly staff that provide outstanding service at the check-in and check-out. Its conveniently located near Six Flags and not far from western St. Louis. The park has pull-thru sites with 30 amp power and all hookups worked great. Train tracks are nearby, and trains run frequently, however, they seldom blow their whistle. Though some guests thought the sites were a bit tight, other sites seemed to be better. Spring for the patio sites as they provide comfortable seating, fire pits, grills, and picnic tables. The restrooms are clean, and the campground has many amenities for guests to enjoy. Unfortunately, some guests felt that the park was overpriced, but this is typical of most KOAs. Overall, its a peaceful and quiet park where campers are friendly and accommodating. Staying at St Louis West / Historic Route 66 KOA Holiday is a great stopover on a long trip out west, or a good spot for a short stay to visit the nearby attractions.
