What others are saying
Finger Lakes State Park is a great destination for campers who are looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. The park offers a variety of activities, including fishing, kayaking, canoeing, motocross, swimming, picnicking, and ATV riding. Helmets and flags are required for ATV riders, and there is a variety of terrain to explore. The campground is generally quiet, with ample space to relax, cook, and dine outdoors. There is also a shooting range and strip mines across the gravel road. Unfortunately, the lake is not suitable for swimming and the dirt bike/ATV riders can be obnoxious. The campground is average, with basic sites and no hook-ups, but the kayak/canoe loop trail is convenient. The Park Ranger can be unfriendly, but the campers are usually able to find a quiet spot for the night.
