We will NOT stay here again. This campground offers easy access to the Osage River, full hookups, and a conservation boat ramp. The grounds are clean and well maintained, and the camp store is cute. There is a new playground and kayak rentals for kids, and a pool table, TV, and air hockey for adults. The bathrooms and showers are new, and there is a free laundry with one washer and dryer. The hosts are excellent and the owners are quick to respond. Across the river is a Sports Bar and bowling alley with good food. The campsite is a tight fit without many trees, and there is some road noise. The fire pit was full of wood, and the mud dauber nests had been cleaned off the walls. The price for a full hookup pull thru site is $23 plus $1.25 tax per night.

Osage Campground Retreat is a pet and kid-friendly campground located in Jefferson City, MO. The campground offers tent and RV camping with public bathrooms, showers, laundry, propane, and WiFi. They also have a new clubhouse that can be used for special events. The campground offers float trips on select Saturdays from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Please note that you must be 16 years of age or older to rent a canoe or kayak, and all groups must have at least one adult (18 years of age or older) present at all times during floats.
