What others are saying about this campground
Knob Noster State Park is a stock Missouri State Park campground that has a lot to offer. It has great trail networks and simple hikes that are ideal for kids. It features three separate trail systems that do not connect, so it might take a minute to look at the map. RVs have easy access to electric hookups, although it is suggested you choose a spot near the water hydrant. Though there is no water access at campsites, the restrooms and shower-dressing areas have fully functioning toilets and sinks. During our visit, the bathroom facilities were clean and well maintained. The park is near Whiteman AFB and offers the unique opportunity to see B-2 Spirit bombers fly up close. The sites are nicely spaced for hammock camping and shade is provided by trees on the campgrounds. It is possible to hear some noise from the Air Force base, but overall it is a peaceful experience. Camp hosts are friendly and helpful with regard to providing information. The park has an online reservation system that is easy to use and rates each site so you can find an even surface for your vehicle.

From The Campground

Knob Noster State Park is a tranquil retreat of open oak woodland with a few patches of prairie along both sides of the meandering Clearfork Creek. It’s a place for fishermen to wet a line, for mountain bikers, hikers and horseback riders to get some trail time, and for families to spend quality time together. The park also features an oxbow slough, which has been officially designated as Pin Oak Slough Natural Area.
