Mark Twain Lake Campground is a great place to stay for a peaceful and affordable getaway. It is roomy, clean, and spacious, with plenty of secluded spots with electric hookups. The campground is surrounded by woods, making it a great spot for hammocks and a swim in the nearby lake. The paved parking pads are perfectly level, so there is no need to level the RV or unhook it from the truck. The bathhouse is a bit of a walk away, but is big and clean. The only concern is that the photos of the sites are a bit deceiving. The campground is near a gun range, so there may be some noise, and the mosquitoes may be a problem in warmer weather. But overall, it is a great spot to stay and would be recommended.
