This campground is the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. Located right alongside the Katy Trail, it offers full hookups at most sites, nearly all of which are tree covered. With few campers, you can easily spread out and enjoy the serene farm fields. The sites are close together but if youre there on a quiet weekend, you can spread out. The campground is rustic and the sites are long, so any size rig should fit. There are a few trees around most sites and the campground is located around an old train station and roundhouse. The campground is also great for cyclists, as it is in the middle of the Katy Bicycle Trail. The bath shower house could use some TLC, but the water pressure is good and the location is ideal. The owners are available if needed, but the office is not staffed all day. Enjoy the views of the Missouri River valley and the howling of the coyotes at night.

The Katy Roundhouse's 45 acre park is located just 50 feet off the Katy Trail at trail marker #189 in New Franklin and only minutes north of I-70, making us very accessible no matter how you travel and 3 miles N. of Casino. Featuring great RV spots and primitive campsites! Shower facility with hot water showers, flush toilets, sinks, security lighting and locking steel doors. Near to Columbia, MO and Boonville, MO.
