Peculiar Park Place in Peculiar, Missouri is a beautiful, well-kept campground that is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The park offers nice size dog park and propane refill services. They have a few laundry facilities that are small but adequate. The park has four separate areas; many of which have tremendous space and are full hook-ups. Although it is a little close to the highway, it did not bother us. The park has lots of local and long-term guests onsite. The staff is wonderful, accommodating and flexible, and they seem to really care about the park. Peculiar Park Place is an excellent location that isnt too far from restaurants and shopping in Belton, Missouri, yet still provides a peaceful escape with lots of wildlife and many places to go for walks or runs.
