Perryville RV Resort is a family-friendly campground under new management and undergoing improvements. The entire camp is shaded by numerous large trees, and the bathrooms and showers are clean and well-maintained. Although the campground is located near I-55, noise from the highway is not a problem. It is a convenient location for exploring the area, and many sites are FHU, pull-throughs with adequate spacing. The pool area is delightful and provides relief from the summer heat. The park welcomes golf carts, and there is an acre of grass to walk your dog if needed. There is a sweet fishing pond on-site. The park is kept very clean and the staff is friendly. If you are traveling with children, this is an excellent place to stay, with plenty of activities to keep them entertained. The price increases slightly each year, and it is open to visitors during the peak season.
