GenieSummary
Camelot RV Campground in Poplar Bluff, MO is a well-maintained and quiet park with level gravel sites and properly placed utilities. Although the main entrance road is narrow, the staff is very helpful and will guide you through the tight turns to your site. The park can accommodate big rigs, but be sure to let them know the size and type when reserving. Access to the park follows a sharp drop from the county road into the park, so take care to avoid bottoming out. There are picnic tables for each site, stored for the winter, and fire pits are not provided, but you may be able to use a self-contained, above-ground fire pit if you check with the office. The laundry is open, but shower/restroom facilities were closed when we were there. Ground fires are not allowed. A designated pet walk area is provided, but there is no off-leash dog park. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The park is a great stopover location and very peaceful. We would definitely stay there again.
