From The Campground
North Fork Campground is a beautiful campground located in the Mark Twain National Forest. The campground offers 4 sites for day use picnicking with grills and tables, and camping trailers, tent camping, and picnic tables are also available. The campground is suitable for small, under 30’ travel trailers, but some can accommodate up to 34' RVs. The pavement type of parking is asphalt. Visitors can enjoy fishing for bass, sunfish, and trout in the North Fork of the White River, and the fishing mode is boat, shore, or wade. Hikers can enjoy the 0.6 mile Blue Spring Trail, or portions of the Ridge Runner Trail or Devils Backbone Wilderness Trails. Backpacking is also available. Visitors can go boating on the river with non-motorized canoes or kayaks, and tubing is also available. Swimming is out of the day use area, and there’s a small cove with fairly shallow water. Some features and amenities are accessible.
