We had a great time here and would definitely stay again. Crows Creek Campground is a great spot for a weekend camping getaway near Kansas City. The campsites are spacious, with plenty of grassy space to set up and play yard games, and some even have covered picnic tables. There are miles of paved walking and biking trails around the lake, perfect for taking your dog for a walk or bird watching. The campground also offers a playground for kids, as well as electric hookups and a dump station. The lake is large and shallow, perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing. The campground is well maintained and patrolled by a ranger, making it a secure and peaceful place to stay. With the nearby area beaches, playgrounds, and stores, Crows Creek is a great spot for a weekend camping trip.

Camp Branch and Crow's Creek Campground is managed by Clay County Parks, Recreation, Historic Sites and offers over 752 campsites for both tent and RV camping. The campground is located at Smithville Lake and offers easy access to walking trails, swim beaches, docks, and shelters. The campground has 346 campsites at Camp Branch and 406 campsites at Crow's Creek. Both campgrounds offer electric and water hookups, shower facilities, and fire rings with grills. Camp Branch also has a disc golf course. The campground offers discounts for seniors and personal property tax payers.
