Smiths Fork in Smithville, MO is a simple but nice RV park that offers full hook-up sites with easy access to highways. The pull-through sites provide privacy by facing the outside of the park and can accommodate large fifth-wheel RVs. The park roads are a bit tight but still navigable for big rigs. Additionally, the park is about 30 minutes from downtown Kansas City and offers plenty of fishing options nearby. While some sites have issues with leveling and may be more exposed to the sun, there are other solid choices to remedy these concerns. While the amenities were not utilized during the stay, this park offers a great location and a pleasant stay for RV campers.

From The Campground

Smith's Fork Campground is a full service, family friendly campground at the Smithville Lake dam. With easy access to fishing, hiking trails, and outdoor adventure. The campground is open seasonally from April 1 to October 31 and offers sites with electricity, water, and sewer connections. Restrooms and a shower house are available on site. The maximum length of stay is 30 days in any consecutive 60-day period. Quiet hours are from 10pm through 7am. No refunds are given.
