This campground is a great spot located within a stones throw of Battlefeild mall, 3 other shopping areas, and plenty of restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the office staff is especially kind and accommodating. The campground is populated with trailers and permanent folks, and offers a mix of pull-through and back-in sites, depending on rig length. The roads are wide, asphalt with roomy turns, and lots of trees but no overhead issues. The sites are nearby but roomy, clean, with packed gravel in good condition, no landscaping, and level. There are two bathrooms, each with a toilet, sink and shower, and a storm shelter is available. The campground is quiet and family-oriented, and is conveniently located near highway 65. There are some drawbacks, such as the lack of pull-throughs for big rigs, the small number of bathrooms, and the fact that some sites are located near a giant propane tank and trash dumpsters. However, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the location is convenient and quiet.
