What others are saying
This campground is located in close proximity to main highways, making it a great option for travelers. However, the temporary sites at the front are in poor condition, with lumpy, bumpy ground, weeds instead of grass, and cracked cement patios. The permanent dwellers living in their trailers and mobile homes can be unsavory. The desk clerk double charged us and disappeared when we came back for a refund. The internal roads and pavement on the sites are run down and there is a lot of trash and old rusting rigs. There is no cable TV as advertised. The plus is that it is right next to a public park, which is a safe place to walk the dog. In the past 5 months, there has been a new office with a green metal roof and a huge covered deck. The spaces are large for big rigs and they are paved. It is a Passport America park and is close to good shopping and restaurants. However, it is near a busy road, so air conditioning is necessary.
